WRHCF awards grants for local community gardens

The Worthington Regional Health Care Foundation announces that University of Minnesota Extension was awarded a grant for $9,812 by the foundation.

A check was presented in June to help support the community garden spaces in Worthington. Worthington has two community gardens; contact the local U of M Extension office in the community for more information on access to these gardens. A formal check presentation took place Monday to celebrate another successful harvest in the gardens.
