Worthington was a little warmer, a little wetter than average for June

Worthington's weather for the month of June was a bit warmer than average and just shy of an inch wetter than usual, according to data compiled at Worthington's Wastewater Treatment Plant.


The average high this past month was 80.8 degrees, which is 2.4 degrees above the June normal of 78.4. The average low was 58.6 degrees, which is 1.2 degrees above average.


The warmest temperature of the month was recorded on June 22, as the community had a high of 96 degrees. There were also highs of 94 on June 21 and 93 on the 23rd. The coldest thermometer reading of the month was 49 degrees, which came on the 8th.


Worthington picked up 6.15 inches of precipitation during the past month, which amounts to .91 inches of rain more than the 5.24 inches that's typical here for June. The greatest amount of rain measured this past month came on June 15 with a total of 1.56 inches.


So far in 2025, Worthington has received 13.24 inches of rainfall. The average here for the first five months of a year is 15.39 inches.


The average high for the first six months of 2025 is 51.8 degrees, compared to the average of 48.5. The average low for this year thus far is 28.5 degrees, compared to 28.7.
