Worthington’s Ground Round restaurant will open Friday for what may be the final time.
A letter dated May 24 and addressed to the Ground Round’s valued customers states:
"Due to the owner's health it's just not possible for us to remain open. We have had an amazing 18 years and it is our hope a new owner will soon appear here and reopen a restaurant. We are doing everything we can to help make that happen."
Adds the letter: "The wonderful support we've had from our great customers and from the entire Worthington community has made it a joy to do our jobs. We've had a lot of fun serving you," the letter continues. "From each and every member of our team, thank you for coming in and thank you for your friendship. We will miss you!!!"
