Worthington native Kor joins Eagles Healing Nest

Eagles Healing Nest, a non-profit in Sauk Center that provides home, hope and healing services to veterans suffering from the invisible wounds of war, has announced that Worthington native Shawn Kor will be working alongside Melony Butler as executive director in Sauk Centre.

 

Said a press release: “With a passion for helping other veterans and a desire to help reach deeper within the veteran community, Shawn comes to us as a seasoned veteran himself, dedicating four years to the Marine Corps and another 24 in the Minnesota Army National Guard before retiring from full-time Minnesota National Guard as Command Sergeant Major."

 

Kor is a graduate of Worthington High School and Bemidji State University as well as a former resident of Luverne. He and his wife, Mandy, currently reside in Nelson. They have four daughters and one son.
