A Worthington man was transported to Windom Area Health following a two-vehicle crash this week on Minnesota 60.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Hailey Anne Veenker, 16, of Windom was making a left turn from eastbound Minnesota 60 onto 10th Street, while a 2004 Mazda MPV operated by Juan Ortiz Chich, 24, of Worthington was westbound on Minnesota 60. The vehicles collided in the intersection; the crash was reported at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Chich was transported to Windom Area Health with a non-life-threatening injury. Veenker was unhurt. The Windom Police Department assisted at the scene.
