Worthington has much warmer and drier February than is typical

Dry conditions remained prevalent in Worthington during the month of February while high temperatures were in excess of 14 degrees above normal for the month, according to data compiled at the Worthington Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The average high temperature in Worthington in February was 41.8 degrees, or 14.5 degrees warmer than the average February high of 27.3. The warmest high of the month, 60 degrees, came during the 24-hour periods that ended at 7 a.m. Feb. 15 and 16. There were also highs of 59 degrees on both Feb. 18 and 28.
The average low in Worthington in January was 16.8 degrees, or 7.2 degrees warmer than the average of 9.6. The lowest temperature reading was minus-4 degrees, which came on Feb. 23. It was minus-3 on the 24th and minus-2 on Feb. 1.
As for precipitation, Worthington received just .02 inches of moisture during the month of February, compared to the normal amount of .82 inches. Just of a trace of snow was measured during the month.
For the first two months of the year, Worthington has an average high of 33.6 degrees and average low of 11.5. By comparison, average highs and lows for the first two months of the year are 25.0 and 7.5 degrees, respectively.
Worthington has received just .16 inches of precipitation in January and February, compared to the normal amount of 1.53 inches.
