Wilson launching new bid to unseat Fogelman in District 21B

Jon Wilson of St. James has announced that he is again running for Minnesota House District 21B on the DFL ticket. He previously campaigned for the seat in the 2024 election.

Wilson said his campaign is centered on affordability, accountability and a return to practical, community-focused leadership.

"Too many people feel like politics is broken," Wilson said. "Both sides keep moving farther apart, and trust is wearing thin. I’m running as a centrist because I believe it’s time to rebuild that trust — with practical solutions, respect for different viewpoints, and leadership that brings people together instead of pushing them apart."

Wilson is a former mayor of St. James and a social studies teacher and coach at St. James High School. He said he's running a campaign focused on the issues that include lowering health care and insurance costs; strengthening local public schools; supporting farmers, small businesses and workers; and ensuring accountability and oversight of taxpayer dollars.
