The Chicago White Sox clubbed 16 hits and beat the Minnesota Twins yesterday at Target Field 6-1. Tim Anderson went 4-for-4 and Luery Garcia homered to pace the White Sox offense. Twins right-hander Michael Pineda allowed five runs on 12 hits over five-and-a-third-innings and suffered the loss. Former Twins pitcher Lance Lynn gave up just one run in six innings to notch the win. Trevor Larnach homered for Minnesota, which has dropped two straight and seven of the past nine.
The Twins welcome Detroit to town to begin a four-game series tonight at 6:30 pm on KWOA the FAN!
