West Des Moines man hurt in Thursday crash in Iowa Great Lakes

One person was injured in a crash late Thursday afternoon in the north edge of Milford.

According to the Milford Police Department, a 2019 Hyundai Tucson operated by Timothy Jordan, 64, of West Des Moines and a 2026 GMC Sierra operated by Codey Christensen, 37, of Milford collided at the intersection of U.S. 71 and 202^nd Street.

Jordan was transported to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake with a non-life-threatening injury. A press release says the collision took place around 5:19 p.m. and remains under investigation.

The Arnolds Park and Okoboji Police Departments, Milford and Arnolds Park-Okoboji Fire and Rescue personnel, and Lakes Regional Ambulance assisted at the scene.
