There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage when a tornado touched down Sunday evening near Kinbrae.
The National Weather Service reported the touchdown happened around 7:15 pm about one mile west/northwest of Kinbrae. Video sent by storm chasers to the weather service office in Sioux Falls reportedly shows the tornado on the ground for about five minutes.
A tornado warning was issued a short time later for northern Jackson County. It expired at 8 p.m. with no reports of any confirmed touchdowns there.
