The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to attend an open house in Luverne on Tuesday, April 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Trailhead, 601 E. Main St., to learn about the U.S. 75 project through Luverne, which is planned for 2026 construction.
There is no formal presentation planned, and attendees are welcome to arrive anytime. Staff from MnDOT will be available to share information about the project, including roadway improvements, timeline, and detours.
In 2026, MnDOT will reconstruct U.S. 75 from the intersection with Main Street to Veterans Drive. In addition to improving the pavement, roadway safety improvements will be made at the intersections with Main Street and Dodge Street, and pedestrian safety improvements will be made throughout the project.
