Max Tylke, from the Legends Club in Prior Lake, captured the Labor Day Classic at GreatLIFE Worthington for the second time on Monday, shooting a round of one-under-par 70 to end up on top by four strokes.
Tylke, a three-time Minnesota Public Golf Association Public Links Championship winner, also was triumphant in the Labor Day Classic in 2020. This time around, he finished four shots ahead of Justin Robel of Sioux Falls, five shots ahead of Stuart Stein of Watertown, S.D., and eight shots in front of Bret Taylor of Boonesville, Iowa.
Tournament play began Saturday, with the field of 48 in the championship flight whittled down to four for Monday’s final round.
