Two people were taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center following a car-vs.-deer crash Wednesday on Interstate 90.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2017 Hyundai SFE operated by Lessen Osvoldo Palmocano, 32, of Sioux Falls was westbound on I-90, three miles west of the Rushmore exit, when it struck a deer. The incident took place at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday.
Palmocano and a passenger, Carlos Armando Rojasbarrientos, 40, also of Sioux Falls, were transported to Worthington’s hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Adrian Fire Department and Adrian Ambulance assisted at the scene.
