Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash this past Friday north of Bergen.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, a 2011 Ford F-150 operated by George Bramstedt of Mountain Lake was northbound on Jackson County 21 and a 1994 Chevrolet GMT operated by David Krueger of Windom was eastbound on Jackson County 36. Krueger reportedly failed to yield and collided with the northbound vehicle, and both vehicles rolled and entered the ditch. The crash took place shortly before 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the collision. Alcohol is suspected of having played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation. The Windom Ambulance, Windom Police Department and Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene.
