One injured in Thursday afternoon crash in Murray County

One person was injured Thursday afternoon in a car-vs.-semi crash in Murray County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2005 Buick LeSabre operated by Hayden Lee Andrews, 21, of Grove City was northbound on U.S. 59 and a 2014 Kenworth semi operated by Mark Leo Bernardy, 58, of Milroy was southbound when the vehicles collided. The crash was reported at 2:55 p.m. Thursday from the U.S. 59/211th Street intersection in Murray County's Lake Sarah Township.

Andrews was transported to Murray County Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury. Bernardy was unhurt. The Murray County Sheriff's Office, Murray County Ambulance, Shetek First Responders, the Slayton Fire Department and the Buffalo Ridge Drug Task Force assisted at the scene.
