Tuesday afternoon crash near Heron Lakes injures two individuals

Two people were hurt in a crash that took place Tuesday afternoon in Jackson County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2023 Chevrolet Malibu operated by Dawn Renee Eigenberg, 62, of Windom was making a left turn on to 390th Avenue after traveling westbound on Minnesota 60, and a 2025 International semi operated by Marvin Toby Deneffe, 37, of Le Center was traveling eastbound. The two vehicles collided in the eastbound lane; the crash was reported at 1:59 p.m. Tuesday.
Eigenberg and Deneffe were both transported to Windom Area Health with non-life-threatening injuries. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Heron Lake Fire Department/EMS assisted at the scene.
