Thursday morning crash near Sherburn injures two drivers

Two people were injured Thursday in a two-vehicle crash near the Sherburn exit on Interstate 90.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2024 Chevy Equinox operated by Tyla Anna Gary Catena, 49, of Trimont was north on Minnesota 4 and 2002 Buick Century operated by a 17-year-old male was southbound when they collided at the intersection with I-90. The crash was reported at 11:55 a.m. Thursday.

Both Catena and the 17-year-old driver were transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Fairmont with non-life-threatening injuries. Two passengers in the Buick were not hurt. The Martin County Sheriff's Office and the Sherburn Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
