Three to be interviewed for G-LR superintendent post

The George-Little Rock Community School District has announced three finalists in its search for the district's next superintendent. The finalists are Troy Damman, Michael Gossen and Amanda Miller.

 

Damman currently serves as superintendent of Erie-Galesburg USD in Erie, Kan. Prior to his current position, he was superintendent of Waconda USD in Cawker City, Kan.

 

Gossen is elementary principal in the Mount Pleasant CSD. He previously served as assistant middle school principal in Mount Pleasant.

 

Miller is currently the middle school and high school principal in the Coon Rapids-Bayard CSD. Before that, she served as high school counselor and student services coordinator in the East Sac County CSD.

 

The district board and stakeholder interview teams will conduct final interviews with each of the three finalists on April 16. The next superintendent will begin leading the district on July 1.
