Three injured in two-vehicle Rock County crash

Three individuals were hurt as the result of a crash that took place Monday in Rock County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2005 Subaru Forrester operated by Joel Richard Farrington, 45, of Minneapolis was eastbound on Rock County 12 and a 2017 Dodge Ram operated by Danny Pete Englert, 55, of Luverne was northbound on U.S. 75 when the vehicles collided in the intersection. The crash was reported at 8:26 a.m. Monday.

Farrington and Englert were both transported to Pipestone County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the Dodge – Elizabeth Lynn Boyle, 74, of Yakima, Washington – was also taken to Pipestone County Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.

The Rock County and Pipestone County sheriff’s offices assisted along with the Jasper Fire Department and Hatfield First Responders.
