Talent contest to be once again hosted for young Iowa rockers

The Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association announces that enrollment is underway for the 2026 Iowa Rocks Talent Contest.

This is a statewide competition for Iowa’s young musicians to showcase their talents, interact with fellow young musicians and get input from professionals in the music industry. The contest features a grand prize of recording time at a major Iowa recording studio and the opportunity to open the show during the annual Hall of Fame Induction Concert.

The deadline for all applications is 11:59 p.m. Friday, July 31. Applicants should go to the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association’s website at www.iowarocknroll.com/iowarockstalent.
