Swimming event in Okoboji won't happen this year

The decision has been made to postpone the 28th Annual University of Okoboji Point to Point Swim until next year.

At the heart of the decision to cancel was swimmer safety. Conditions on both Pikes Point and Gull Point beaches forced the decision to postpone this year’s event.

All current registrants will receive a refund of their registration fee, and any questions about the refund process can be directed to YMCA Member Services at (712) 336-9622.
