Summer food program to be available through District 518

Worthington Independent School District 518 will once again offer a summer food program.
Meals will be provided at all school sites where programming will be taking place, and meals will also be delivered to multiple community locations that include the Worthington Area YMCA, Watland Park and Millard Walker Park.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the middle school, intermediate school, high school and Learning Center, with lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the middle school, intermediate school and learning center and noon to 1 p.m. at the high school. Serving dates will be Monday through Friday, June 8-26. No meals will be served on June 19.
Breakfast will be also served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon on Mondays through Fridays from June 29-Aug. 7 at the intermediate school. No meals will be served on July 3 or July 6.
Summer meals will be available at no cost to children ages 18 and younger at the participating sites. Adult meals will be available for $5.75 each. To eat, simply show up.
