Minnesota's individual high school wrestling tournament continued Saturday with individual competition in all classes. Two Adrian-Ellsworth individuals remained in Class A; one wrestler from Worthington was still competing in Class AA.
At 152 pounds, Adrian-Ellsworth's Isaac Bullerman was defeated in his first match Saturday and is now out of the tournament. Bullerman lost by decision to Hank Tellers of the United North Central Warriors, 6-2.
At 220, A-E's Cameron Wieneke captured a wrestlebacks match Saturday against Cody Lohman of Goodhue, winning by fall in 4:47. Wieneke then lost an 8-1 decision to Bryce Holm of Royalton/Upsala and is now out of the tournament.
Worthington 285-pounder Cole Hennings, wrestling in a semifinal match Saturday, was defeated in a 7-2 decision by Elijah Novak of Foley. Hennings moves into the wrestlebacks and will face a familiar foe in Jaden Drill of New Ulm Area, who Hennings beat last weekend for a Section 3AA championship.
