The Spirit of Worthington Trojan Marching Band received the Sweepstakes Award for best marching band of the 13 schools participating at Saturday’s Tri-State Band Festival in Luverne.
The Trojans Color Guard also received the highest score as well as the highest musical execution, and additionally won first place for Class 4AAAA. WHS will march on Saturday in Algona, Iowa,
Murray County Central won first place among Class A schools in Saturday’s parade. George-Little Rock was recognized as the people’s choice in the parade for all classes.
