Spenser Nickel, a junior forward on the Worthington Trojans boys hockey team, is this week’s Radio Works Athlete of the Week. Nickel scored six goals and also contributed two assists Thursday to help boost the Trojans to their first victory of the season, a 9-4 win at Fairmont.
The Radio Works Athlete of the Week is being brought to you by Leading Edge Credit Union, federally insured by NCUA with locations in Worthington, Jackson, Fulda, Windom and Marshall. Each recipient will be recognized with a Radio Works Athlete of the Week T-shirt as well as recognition on our social media pages. Athletes will be recognized from schools that include Worthington, Round Lake-Brewster, Jackson County Central, Heron Lake-Okabena, Fulda, Sibley-Ocheyedan, Adrian-Ellsworth and Minnesota West.
