Multiple players named to All-Red Rock Conference boys hoops team

State Class A champion Hills-Beaver Creek led all schools with four players named to the All-Red Rock Conference Boys Basketball Team.

Representing the Patriots on the team are seniors Micah Bush, Jamin Metzger and Eduardo Wegener as well as sophomore Brodie Metzger.

Southwest Minnesota Christian had three of its student-athletes make the squad. They include senior Kade Fey and juniors Josiah Hoftyzer and Ryan Pap.

Also earning all-conference recognition were: senior Kade Moffit and junior Colin Scholten of Edgerton; seniors Colton Thomsen and Tyler Wishmann of Russell-Tyler-Ruthton; senior Darwin Demarrias-Jansma of Adrian-Ellsworth; junior Bryce Nielsen of Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda; senior Aidan Olson of Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey; senior Aiden Swenson of Murray County Central; sophomore Henry Stavnes of Red Rock Central; and senior Drew Swanson of Westbrook-Walnut Grove.

Earning honorable mention honors were: Wyatt Thompson and Dugan Kluis of MCC; Parker Fey and Zachary Moss of Southwest Minnesota Christian; Neil Kuehl and Jackson Jenniges of W-WG; Matthew Geister of A-E; Michael Gunnink of Edgerton; Riggins Rheault of H-BC; Maxton Fast of MLA/C; and Juhl Drake of R-T-R.
