Spencer city manager interviews are postponed

The Spencer City Manager interviews that had beens scheduled for this weekend have been postponed until a later date.
A press release distributed by Spencer Mayor Kevin Robinson’s office earlier this week noted that two of three finalists are currently ill. Current Sibley City Administrator/Economic Development Director and Utility Superintendent Glenn Anderson, also a Rock Rapids native, is one of the three finalists for the Spencer post. Other finalists are Paula “Kay” Cmelik, a Hartley native who is now employed as city clerk in Des Moines, and Al Roder, who is the city manager of Independence.
The interviews will now take place on a date that’s yet to be determined.
