Six individuals sustained injuries – all of them non-life-threatening – in a one-vehicle crash early Monday in Cottonwood County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2016 Dodge Caravan operated by Bianca Marie Nuno, 24, of Worthington was southbound on Cottonwood County 7 when it entered the ditch of Minnesota 62. The incident took place at 2:39 a.m. Monday.
Nuno along with five passengers – four of them young children – were taken to Sanford Worthington Medical with injuries. The passengers were: Mateo Burdles, 1; Elizabeth Luz Burdles Hernandez, 23; Amiaya Nuno, 2; and Cash Nuno, an infant, and Abel Ortiz, 6. All involved are from Worthington.
The Murray County Sheriff’s Office and the Fulda Fire Department assisted at the scene.
