Sieve, Kinser are Worthington's Triple A award winners

Worthington District 518 Schools announce Madison Sieve and Austin Kinser as the district’s 2025–26 Academics, Arts, and Athletics (Triple ‘A’) Award recipients.
Sieve, daughter of Jason and Holly Sieve, has been actively involved in a wide range of activities at Worthington High School. She participated in the WHS Band, including marching, concert and pep band. Sieve competed in cross country, serving as a team captain during her junior and senior years, girls basketball as a senior captain and track. In addition to her athletic and fine arts involvement, Sieve maintained strong academic performance, completed PSEO coursework and was inducted into the WHS National Honor Society.
Kinser, son of Aaron and Jensine Kinser, has demonstrated exceptional involvement across academics, arts and athletics. He participated in multiple WHS band ensembles (marching, concert, and pep band), serving as a section leader and performing in solo and ensemble contests. Kinser was also involved in WHS Choir, including Concert Choir, Trojan Express, VOX and special ensembles, again serving as a section leader and competing in solo and ensemble contests. Additionally, he was a member of the WHS Orchestra as a freshman.
Athletically, Kinser competed in cross country, serving as captain during his junior and senior years and earning all-conference honors for three years. He also participated in boys’ basketball and track, earning all-conference honors in track as a sophomore. Beyond athletics, Kinser is an active member of the WHS Speech Team and Knowledge Bowl Team, which achieved high rankings at the subsection and regional levels. Academically, he has completed PSEO, AP and concurrent enrollment college courses and is a member of the WHS National Honor Society.
The Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple ‘A’ Award, honors Minnesota high school seniors who maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher while participating in Minnesota State High School League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities. Each League member school may submit two nominees for regional consideration.
