A Sibley, Iowa woman was hospitalized following a Wednesday crash on U.S. 59 north of Worthington.
A 2010 Chevy Impala operated by Doreen Kay Braun, 71, of Sibley was traveling southbound on U.S. 59, and a Ford F550 operated by Michael Dean Maguire, 37, of Watertown was traveling northbound. The crash, which took place at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, took place in snowy and icy conditions in Elk Township.
Braun was taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury. Maguire was unhurt. The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Brewster Fire Department and Fulda and Sanford EMS assisted at the scene.
