Shalom Hill Farm to mark 30 years with open house event

Shalom Hill Farm, a nonprofit retreat center for both religious and community groups, will celebrate 30 years of retreat activity with an open house next weekend.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 13 and will showcase all of the farm’s facilities and activities. The public will be able to enjoy tours, farmer’s market, a kids' zone, walking trails, exhibits, lunch and an informal liturgy named Peace of the Prairie.
Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a free-will offering accepted. Peace of the Prairie is planned from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m., followed by refreshments.
Shalom Hill Farm is located 15 minutes north of Windom at 42194 Cottonwood County 3.
