State Rep. Joe Schomacker, R-Luverne, took the oath of office earlier this week to serve as State Representative for District 21A, which includes communities in Rock, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Lincoln and Cottonwood counties.
Said Schomacker in a press release: “I’m humbled by the opportunity to once again serve the people of southwestern Minnesota, and I am grateful once again to represent their interests.”
Schomacker recently received his Minnesota House committee assignments. In addition to serving as the Republican Lead on the Health Finance and Policy Committee, he will also serve on the Ways and Means and Economic Development Finance and Policy committees over the next two years.
