Saturday crash in Murray County results in life-threatening injuries

A Wabasso man sustained life-threatening injuries in a Saturday motorcycle crash in Murray County.


According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by Burnard Lee Jr. Ours, 46, was northbound on Minnesota 91 when the driver lost control and laid the bike down. The crash was reported at 4:47 p.m. Saturday from the intersection of Minnesota 91 and 151st Street in Murray County's Cameron Township.


Ours was taken to Murray County Medical Center in Slayton with his injuries. He was not wearing a helmet, and alcohol usage is suspected. The Murray County Sheriff's Office, Lake Wilson Fire Department and Murray County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
