Rushmore man hurt in Cottonwood County crash

A Rushmore man was injured and taken to Windom’s hospital as a result of a crash Monday afternoon in Cottonwood County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2013 Ford F-150 operated by Paul James Anderson, 54, of Rushmore was westbound on Minnesota 60 near milepost 40 at 3:55 p.m. Monday when it swerved to avoid striking a semi tire in the road and rolled.

Anderson sustained a non-life-threatening injury. The Windom Police Department, Windom Fire Department and Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
