Regional seal coat work delayed until last week

Motorists are advised that seal coat work that was expected to begin Monday has been delayed until around Thursday, weather permitting. The work is being done to protect highways from the harsh Minnesota weather.

Impacted highway portions include U.S. 71 from Windom to Minnesota 30 east of Jeffers; U.S. 75 from one mile south of Interstate 90 to Luverne; eastbound I-90 from Sherburn to Fairmont; eastbound I-90 from Worthington to 10 miles east of Worthington; eastbound I-90 south of Lakefield to west of Jackson; and Minnesota 91 from four miles south of Adrian to seven miles north of Lismore.

Motorists are encouraged to monitor www.511mn.org for the most current travel information.
