Red Hot Chili Cook Off scheduled for Jan. 31 at Worthington Elks Lodge

FORWARD Worthington is looking for people to bring the heat for its annual Red Hot Chili Cook Off.

The event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. (or until gone) on Jan. 31 at the Worthington Elks Lodge. There is a limit of 10 teams total for the contest, which is being sponsored by both Worthington Hy-Vee and Worthington Fareway.

Entry in the contest is free with receipts of chili ingredient purchases from your designated store, Hy-Vee or Fareway. Prizes will be awarded for best chili, with the first-place winner receiving $100 in Fareway and Hy-Vee gift cards and second- and third-place recipients getting $50 and $25 worth of those gift cards, respectively.
