Pickup-semi crash on I-90 near east Worthington exit injures one

A Belle Plaine man was injured Friday in a crash on Interstate 90 that involved a pickup and a semi.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2022 Volvo semi operated by Ibrahim Grahovic, 55, of Waterloo, Iowa was eastbound on I-90 and a 2019 Chevy Silverado operated by Jon Lynn Prestin, 70, of Belle Plaine was merging from Minnesota 60 on to eastbound I-90 when they collided. The crash was reported at 10:51 a.m. Friday near milepost 45.

Prestin was taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury, while Grahovic was unhurt. The Worthington Police and Fire Departments along with Sanford Ambulance assisted at the scene.
