Concrete paving will be taking place along Worthington's Oxford Street between McMillan Street and Humiston Avenue starting Monday through Wednesday, weather permitting, according to a press release from the engineering firm Short Elliott Hendrickson.
The contractor will be using a concrete paving machine to pave the inside drive lanes. The machine requires ready mix trucks to unload from the existing drive lane to a conveyor for the paving machine.
The unloading of the trucks will cause a substantial delay for traffic. Vehicles are advised to use alternate routes these days.
