One-vehicle crash on Thursday injures pair of teens

Two teenagers were injured early Thursday evening in a crash in Cottonwood County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2010 Honda CR-V operated by Porter Elliot Owen, 17, of St. Paul was westbound on Minnesota 60 when it left the roadway at 510th Avenue in Lakeside Township. The crash was reported at 7:10 p.m. Thursday.

Owen and a 15-year-old female passenger were both transported to Windom Area Health with non-life-threatening injuries. The Windom Police Department and Ambulance, as well as the Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office, assisted at the scene.
