Alcohol is believed to have been involved in a one-vehicle crash Saturday involving a 1966 Ford Mustang that injured a passenger.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the Mustang, which was being operated by Robert Myrl Lemburg, 55, of Lynd, was northbound on Minnesota 91 when it lost control and crashed into the ditch. The incident was reported at 7:53 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 221st Street in Murray County's Skandia Township.
Lemburg, who the State Patrol suspected of consuming alcohol, was not injured. His passenger, Jolynn Renae Lemburg, 55, of Lynd was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
The Lyon and Murray County sheriff's offices along with the Balaton Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
