One hurt in Friday evening crash involving car and semi

An 89-year-old Windom man was injured as a result of an early Friday evening crash in Cottonwood County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2006 Chevrolet HHR operated by Gary Neal Moller of Windom was attempting to cross Minnesota 60 while on U.S. 71 when it collided with a 2023 Peterbilt semi operated by Jakob Ryan Kramer, 21, of Hawarden, Iowa, that was eastbound on Minnesota 60. The crash was reported at 6:56 p.m. Friday in Windom.
Moller was transported to Windom Area Health with a non-life-threatening injury, while Kramer was uninjured. The Windom Police and Fire Departments and Ambulance, along with the Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office, assisted at the scene.
