Heavy rains fell Thursday across southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa, and the National Weather Service reported several area precipitation totals Friday morning.
Worthington recorded a total of 2.28 inches of rain as of 7 a.m. Friday, according to the weather service. Pipestone, meanwhile, had a measurement of 2 inches reported, while Marshall had 1.67 inches reported and Windom 1.3 inches. In northwest Iowa, Sibley recorded a measurement of 1.77 inches of rain, while Sheldon reported .85 inches.
