The Christmas season is approaching, and Nobles County Toys for Tots is kicking off its eighth year of bringing smiles, hope and the joy of Christmas to children throughout Nobles County.

Since its first local campaign in 2019, Nobles County Toys for Tots has relied on the generosity of individuals, businesses, organizations and community partners to help ensure children in need have the opportunity to experience the excitement of receiving gifts during the Christmas season.

The local campaign is part of the US Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots, whose mission is to collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys to children in need at Christmas. Through the dedication of local volunteers and the generosity of the community, the program helps bring hope and happiness to families during the Christmas season.

“Our mission is to help bring the joy of Christmas to children in our community,” said Dan Harrington, Nobles County Toys for Tots coordinator. “Every child deserves to experience the excitement of Christmas morning. As we begin our eighth year, we are proud of what our community has accomplished together and are grateful to everyone who helps make this mission possible."

An important change for the 2026 campaign is that all toy requests must be submitted online. Paper applications and in-person applications will not be accepted.

Families have two ways to apply:

Apply online. Visit the official Nobles County Toys for Tots website at adrian-mn.toysfortots.org, select "request a toy" and complete the family toy request application.

Apply using a cell phone. Families can download the official Toys for Tots mobile app on their smartphone. Once in the app, locate Nobles County, Minnesota, and follow the instructions to complete the online toy request.

The mobile app includes a convenient language feature that allows users to change the language from English to Spanish. The language option is located at the bottom of the screen, making the application process more accessible to Spanish-speaking families.

The deadline to submit a toy request is Nov. 23. Families are encouraged to apply early and ensure their application is submitted before the deadline. Nobles County Toys for Tots asks families to submit only ONE toy request application per household.
