Nobles County crash results in injuries to two people

Two people were taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center following a Friday crash in Nobles County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2004 Ford F250 operated by Kate Elizabeth Broersma, 29, of Sheldon was northbound on U.S. 59 and a 2018 Chevy Malibu operated by a 17-year-old Heron Lake female was stopped at 220^th Street when the collision took place. The crash was reported at 5:13 p.m. Friday.

Both drivers were taken to Worthington's hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Worthington Ambulance, Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Worthington Police Department and Brewster Fire Department assisted at the scene.
