Josh Noble, Worthington High School’s principal for the past seven years, has been named District 518’s Director of Instruction. Noble’s newly created position involves overseeing the district’s principals.
Prior to becoming the WHS principal, Noble taught in District 518 at West Elementary in 1999 before moving to teach at Prairie Elementary in 2001. He later was appointed assistant principal at Prairie Elementary and would become the school’s principal before being named principal of Worthington High School in 2015.
Interviews for the director of instruction position were conducted Monday. The district announced the hiring of Noble for the post on Thursday.
