The Nobles County Historical Society will have New Volunteer Orientation at 3 p.m. Jan. 6 in the new Nobles County Heritage Center in the historic Armory building, 225 Ninth St., Worthington. Anyone interested in becoming a Nobles County Historical Society volunteer is encouraged to attend.
Possible volunteer tasks include: working with visitors, scanning photos, researching historical topics, building maintenance, sorting photos and artifacts, IT/computer maintenance, creating and editing videos and much more. Prospective volunteers will receive information about available opportunities and have a tour of the new facility.
