NCE awards $22,800 through latest Operation Round Up funding

In the latest round of Operation Round Up funding, $22,800 has been awarded to local support projects, including equipment for first responders, AED replacements for schools, youth program needs, classroom and preschool materials, community space improvements, historical preservation, and supplies for volunteer groups serving those in need. In addition, $9,000 was awarded to nine high school seniors.


Operation Round Up is program made possible by members of Nobles Cooperative Electric who choose to round up their electric bills each month.

Organizations receiving funding include: Buffalo Ridge Young Marines, Chandler Area Quilters, Christ Lutheran Church Sewers, Cultural Awareness Foundation, Ecumen Meadows, Fulda Elementary PBIS, Fulda/MCC Youth Wrestling, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Helping Hand Pregnancy Center, Immanuel Lutheran Quilters, Lake Sarah Quilters, Leota First Responders, MCJO Volleyball, Murray County Central Football Program, MCC Little Rebels, Murray County Central Schools (AED Project), Murray County Early Childhood, Murray County Historical Society, Nobles County Historical Society, Nobles County Toys for Tots, Slayton Fire Department, Slayton Youth Baseball and Softball, SW Crisis Center and SWWC Student Enrichment Program.


The next round of applications is due Sept. 1.
