Multiple crashes reported on I-90 and in Nobles County

Two men were injured Tuesday morning in separate semi crashes on Interstate 90.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2019 Freightliner semi operated by Christopher Alan Flanery, 49, of Kasson, was eastbound on I-90 in snow/ice conditions near milepost 53 when it went into the median. The crash was reported at 5:40 a.m. Tuesday. Flanery was transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.
A 2016 Freightliner semi operated by Hussein Aden Hassan, 38, of an unknown location, was westbound on I-90 in snow/ice conditions when it entered the ditch. That crash was reported at 7 a.m. Tuesday. Hassan was also taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.
Multiple other minor crashes were reported around Worthington early Tueeday as snow, ice and wind combined to make traveling difficult.
Worthington police received a report at 12:12 a.m. Tuesday of a crash at the intersection of Oxford Street and Diagonal Road. Another crash was reported at 3:05 a.m. from the intersection of Minnesota 60 and Nobles County 35, and the Minnesota 60/Interstate 90 roundabout was the site of a crash at 4:43 a.m. There were no injuries reported in either of these incidents.
The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 7:13 a.m. Tuesday of a crash at the intersection of Minnesota 91 and Birkett Avenue; it also received a report of a one-vehicle crash on Minnesota 60 at 7:54 a.m. The Worthington Police Department also responded to a one-vehicle crash at 7:33 a.m. near Graham Tire. There were no injuries involved in any of those incidents.
