Minnesota West's Gaul to speak at event celebrating America's 250th

Minnesota West professor Dr. Anita Gaul will be speaking next week at an event in Windom marking America's 250^th birthday.

Gaul's presentation, “The Road to 1776: How to Destroy a Relationship in 13 Years,” will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 at the Business, Arts, & Recreation Center (BARC). Gaul, whose research heavily emphasizes local and regional history, will guide attendees through the turbulent 13 years separating the British victory in the Seven Years’ War from the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Admission to the presentation is free. Prior to that, a supper fundraiser supporting the BARC roof fund will be offered. A pulled pork meal and a sloppy joe meal will both be available for purchase.
