Minnesota West plans Mechatronics open house for Oct. 7

Minnesota West Community & Technical College invites the public to an open house at the Center for Career Education from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 7 at 1215 Third Ave., Worthington. This event offers an opportunity to explore the world of mechatronics and discover how Minnesota West helps students to launch successful careers in manufacturing and automation.

Visitors will have the chance to tour the facility, meet faculty and staff, and learn how the college supports students in their job search and career development. 

Highlights will include: guided tours of the Career Education Center; insight into the Mechatronics program and career pathways; door prizes and light refreshments; and networking with instructors and industry professionals.

Students in the mechatronics program at Minnesota West gain hands-on experience in engineering fundamentals, robotics and automation, fluid power systems, and computer controls and mechanics.
